Battut Vision Paper
About Battut
Battut is a Shariah-compliant social platform for the global Muslim community — a home for posts, reels, short text threads (Khawater), and stories, in a safe and family-friendly space. Our long-term vision is a community-first economy in which the value members create flows back to them.
Our Vision: Community First, Faith First
Mainstream social platforms profit from users' attention and data, while the people who create the value rarely share in it. Battut is built on a different premise: a faith-aligned community where members are partners, not the product.
This is a forward-looking vision. We are building toward an "engage-to-earn" model in which genuine, permissible contribution is recognized — and, over time, rewarded — without ever compromising Shariah principles.
The Engagement Ecosystem (Aspirational)
Battut is designed around an engagement economy where meaningful, halal participation is recognized. These concepts describe our direction — not a guarantee of financial return.
Social Rewards
Earn recognition and in-app rewards for high-quality contributions and helpful community participation.
Shared Prosperity (Future)
As the platform grows, we aim to route a share of platform value back to active members — always free of interest (riba) and chance (maysir).
Community Governance (Future)
A long-term goal to give committed members a genuine voice in how Battut evolves.
